A pesar de su juventud, José Guedez ha participado en más de veinte
exposiciones de sus obras. A pesar de que la portada de éste número de
INTERCIENCIA es un collage, Guedez ahora retoma el bastidor y ensaya
registros plásticos plurales. El deseo de retomar los recursos del color y
los problemas de la composición lo llevan a solventar un conjunto de
cuatro cuadros que responden al título de Juegos lúdicos. Esta expresión
pleonástica pone en evidencia el particular énfasis que el artista establece
sobre todo lo que se relacione con diversiones, entretenimientos,
recreaciones y pasatiempos. Asi mismo, debe destacarse que este nuevo
capítulo de su secuencia no interrumpe definitivamente sus hallazgos
anteriores, como son el collage.

In spite of his youth, José Gudez ha partaken in more than twenty exhi-bitions
of his works. Although the cover of this issue of Interciencia is a
collage Guedez is now retaking the easel and experiments plural plastic
registers. The desire of going back to the resources of color, and to the
problems of composition has derived in producing a set of four pictures
that respond to the title of Ludicrous games. This redundant expression
puts forward the particular emphasis that the artist establishes in all that
is related to amusement, entertainment, recreation and pastimes. Like-wise
it should be noted that this new chapter in his sequence does not
definitevely interrups his previous findings as that of the collage.
