Félix Perdomo es un artista dotado de un don muy especial para sustituir la visión de la realidad a través de una nostálgica mirada infantil. Ésta la defiende contínuamente a lo largo de toda su obra. Su aparente despreo-cupación estética está muy comprometida con la recapitulación de la ino-cencia. Sin embargo, detrás de esta aparente candidez, se vislumbra un pensa-miento casi metafísico por sus concepciones atemporales y por la soledad de sus figuras. El resultado de un cuadro de Perdomo estaría muy cerca de un campo neutralizante e inmóvil, carente de acción y de ideas transformadoras de su realidad interior. En la concepción de los cuadros de este artista todo está suspendido o paralizado. Paralizado quizás a través de la profunda melancolía de Mo-randi o tal vez por la conmovedora soledad de Giacometti.

Félix Perdomo is an artist endowed with a very special gift to substitute the vision of reality through nostalgic childish eyes. He defends this continuosly throughout his work. His apparent unconventional aesthetics, is very much bound to the recollection of innocence. Nonetheless, behind this apparent guileless, one can glimpse an almost methaphysical thought by his untimely conceptions, and by the loneliness of his figures. The result of a Perdomo picture would be closer to a neutralized and immovable field, lacking in action and of transforming ideas of his interior reality.
In the concept of the pictures of this artist all is suspended or paralyzed. Paralyzed probably through the deep melancholia of Morandi, or maybe by the moving loneliness of Giacometti.
